ZD Energy’s localization journey in Thailand began in 2022. Against the backdrop of growing cooperation between China and Thailand in the new energy industry, the company selected Thailand as its first destination for an integrated overseas business model. In 2024, with the support of the Thai government, industrial park authorities, and local industry partners, the Chonburi factory officially commenced operations. It is Thailand’s first dedicated EV charger manufacturing facility and the first overseas factory established by a Chinese EV charging company.
