ICT, University of Phayao has signed a funding agreement to support the development of innovative social projects in the area.
The Assistant Professor, Dr. Phontep Rojanawasu, Dean of School of Information Technology and Communication Arts, together with Dr. Kawarin Jandam, Vice Dean of the Strategic Planning and Organizational Development Division, have jointly signed a contract to support the development of innovative projects for social advancement. These projects, totaling two, aim to design products with the identity of the highland community of Ban Pha Chang Noi, Pong District, Phayao Province. This collaboration is part of the innovation-driven social development initiatives in the upper northern region for the fiscal year 2023.
The University of Phayao, in collaboration with a group of textile manufacturers specializing in ethnic fabrics and hand-woven textiles from the Sibsong Panna Development Village, Ban Pha Chang Noi, Pong District, Phayao Province, aims to develop and design products based on the local identity. The goal is to create value and enhance the marketability of community products.
