The Philippines enjoys a particularly strategic location and plays an important role as a key hub in trade routes in the Asia-Pacific region.
This symposium was held to discuss issues and solutions for improving logistics in the Philippines, and featured lectures and research reports on logistics conditions in the island nation and proposed improvements. A panel discussion was held on boosting the country’s logistics efficiency, during which President Nakayama took the stage to introduce his company’s initiatives, share issues, and engage in in-depth discussions on specific measures to improve logistics in the Philippines and on potential cooperation. The other participants offered a variety of opinions and posed numerous questions, making the symposium a valuable opportunity to consider the future of logistics in the ASEAN region as a whole.
